New Preparation Technician Vacancy
Dunstable
32k + 40K(uncapped) bonus + company benefits
Monday to Friday 8.00 – 5.30 and 1 in 3 Saturdays 8.00 – 1.00

YOLO Recruitment is looking to recruit a Prep Vehicle Technician / Prep Technician / Preparation Vehicle Technician / Prep Preparation for our clients main dealer based in the Dunstable area.

We will need someone with previous mechanical / Prep Vehicle Technician / Prep Technician / Preparation Vehicle Technician / Prep Preparation in a main or franchised dealership.

You will need to be Level 2 or 3 City and Guilds and a full UK DL. MOT License desirable although not essential.

Duties of the successful Prep Vehicle Technician / Prep Technician / Preparation Vehicle Technician / Prep Preparation :
• Undertake vehicle road testing for diagnosis and to test repairs.
• Obtain appropriate authorisation if additional work is required on a vehicle.
• Build and maintain a high level of technical competence for diagnosing and servicing vehicles and utilise regular training and support information
• Be open to try new methods of work designed to improve efficiency.
• Servicing, repairs, PDI's on new and used vehicles.
• You believe in the 'fixed first visit' approach
• Diagnose standard faults and have excellent working methods & standards
• Carry out repairs to safety / MOT / manufacturer / warranty standards
• Reports faults and service requirements to the Workshop Controller
• Use your technical knowledge and skills
