HGV Technician Vacancy
Bradford, West Yorkshire
£19.00 ph + bonus + otime @ 1.5 = 45k OTE + bens
Days: 6.00 am – 6.00 pm Monday to Thursday (week 1), Tuesday – Friday + Saturday morning 6.00 – 12.00 (week 2)
Nights: 6.00 pm – 6.00 am Monday to Thursday (week 1), Tuesday – Friday (week 2)

As an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Commercial Technician , your day to day, you will be:
• Performing major and minor repairs to heavy goods vehicles, trailers and other vehicles.
• Performing regular inspection and general preventive maintenance services such as tyre rotation and oil changes.
• Maintaining inventory in the workshop and cleanliness from oil spills and dust
• Working with repair teams to help diagnose and plan repairs for the vehicles.
• Maintaining records of vehicles that have been repaired or handled.
• Providing repair services to clients on the road in case of emergencies.
• Completing relevant documentation and paperwork as required and providing warranty claims or escalating them to higher management.

Qualifications for our HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Commercial Technician vacancy:
• You will need to be level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in HGV Vehicle Repair and maintenance.
• Your need the ability to identify worn and faulty components in accordance with the DVSA Standards and have a current, full UK driving license for the relevant vehicle classes.
• Someone who has strong coping skills and can draw on these when life presents challenges.
• Ensure personal and team success, being motivated is essential and is a key part of your role and it is part of being a brilliant team player.
• Precision in diagnosing issues and conducting repairs to ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards.
• Ability to prioritize and complete tasks within timeframes to meet customer demands and maintain workshop efficiency.
