YOLO Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for a Service Technician / Diagnostic Technician / Master Technician / Vehicle Technician / Automotive Technician / Motor Mechanic / Car Mechanic / Car Technician vacancy to join their client’s dealership in Heathrow.
As a Car Technician / Vehicle Technician / Mechanic you will:
• Performing major and minor repairs
• Performing regular inspection and general preventive maintenance services
• Maintaining inventory in the workshop and cleanliness from oil spills and dust
• Working with repair teams to help diagnose and plan repairs for the vehicles.
• Maintaining records of vehicles that have been repaired
• Completing relevant documentation and paperwork as required and providing warranty claims or escalating them to higher management.
• Carry out wheel alignment and tyre fitting
• Complete customer documentation while working to agreed time scales
To be considered for our Car Technician / Vehicle Technician / Mechanic vacancy:
• You will need to be level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification)
• Experience in carrying out diagnostic and service repairs
• Ability to identify worn and faulty components in accordance with the DVSA Standards
• Current, full UK driving license for the relevant vehicle classes
• Ensure personal and team success, being motivated is essential and is a key part of your role and it is part of being a brilliant team player.
• Precision in diagnosing issues and conducting repairs to ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards.
Hours: 40 hours, 8.00 – 5.00, Monday to Friday. 1 in 4 Saturdays.
