Parts Advisor Vacancy

My client, a main dealer in the Hertfordshire is currently looking for a Parts Advisor on a full-time permanent basis.

You will need to have previous experience working as a Parts Advisor in a main or franchised dealership or in Euro Car Parts or a TPS type environment.

Duties of the Parts Advisor, day by day:

Assisting technicians by looking up parts needed for vehicle repair.
Answering phone calls and assisting walk-ins and wholesale customers with their parts needs.
Tracking all incoming or outgoing parts for a dealership.
Locating available parts when the dealership is out of stock.
Handling parts payment collection and making sure all parts are billed appropriately.
Packaging and shipping parts back to the manufacturer.
Referring to parts manual to identify the right part for the make and model and year of vehicles being serviced.
Skills required for this parts role:

This role is pivotal in ensuring that all customers and colleagues are accurately informed.
When working to deadlines, being able to manage your time effectively, is essential. Strong organisation skills are key to this.
A resilient person is someone who has strong coping skills and can draw on these when life presents challenges.
To ensure personal and team success, being motivated is essential.
Hours are Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week.
